(June 2018)

We have had a busy term this last term with lots happening.  We have been working at getting our allotment planted up with potatoes, onions, raspberries and lots of other things, so we hopefully will be able to harvest our produce later in the year.

We thank Gordon and Mary Emery at the farm at the top of Whilton as they invited us again to see and feed the lambs.  We were very fortunate to see four lambs being born with staff helping to deliver them!!  Then Gordon allowed us to go on his tractor, very exciting.

We continue to use the spinney and have just had a picnic table installed down there to enable us to do activities on the table when it is very muddy or not nice to be sitting on the floor.  We thank Daventry County Council for helping to fund this and also funding items for our allotment.

We enjoy music sessions and are presently having PE lessons during our Wednesday afternoon session in preparation for school - so we can get changed quicker.

During this term we have been learning about different forms of transport and the local police officer visited us so we could have a look around her car.  We sat in the police car and had the blue lights flashing and even had the siren on for just a couple of minutes so not to alarm the local residents.

If you think your child would enjoy these experiences please contact us, we have spaces available for the September intake.  We meet at Whilton Village Hall and are able to take children from 2 years upwards.  If you have a child of this age and would be interested in sending them to the pre-school, please get in touch with Michaele Mullen on 07546 440572 or email through our website, so we can arrange a visit and chat.  For more information visit our website or visit us on Facebook.
